Raiffeisen Vikings Newsletter vom 10.01.2013 News from the Coaches Convention After registering and checking into the hotel we began our 2013 convention as every other coach, in the registration line. There were thousands of coaches waiting to get register, but luckily we planned ahead and Pre registered so we were able to get through faster than most. One pleasant surprise was that every coach received AFCA Presidents new book "Beyond the Game" for some reading on the plane ride home. The coaching staff made a point to stop by the HUDL exhibition and speak with the techs about the AFL's new video analysis and exchange system. We have used Hudl for two seasons now and it was great to talk with the designers to find out more ways to use Hudl to help our players get better through video analysis. To the important things on Monday, National Championship Football. Anticipation built up trough out the day and every clinic speak made a reference to the Alabama and Notre Dame matchup. Coaches talked in the hallways, over lunch and dinner, and amongst each other the keys to each team winning. Being a defensive coach I heard a lot about both Defensives, maybe that was just what I wanted to hear. Ends up Alabama has a pretty good offense.
